How much is a wedding videographer in Derbyshire?
My wedding videography packages start around £1,500, and most couples invest around £2,500 for full-day coverage with a longer highlight film. Across the UK you should expect to see quality wedding films priced between roughly £1,200 and £3,500 depending on hours of coverage, film length and whether ceremony and speech recordings are included.
Which areas do you cover as a wedding videographer?
I am based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, and film weddings right across Derbyshire, the Peak District, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and North Yorkshire with no travel fee. I also film UK-wide and destination weddings. During 2026 I will be travelling to Croatia, Santorini and Malta for destination weddings.
What is a wedding film?
A wedding film created by me, is a film that covers most of your day, from morning preparations until a few songs after your first dance. I will capture moments as they unfold, as naturally as possible. To me, a Wedding Film is just as important as your photographs, because they capture the laughter, tears and the in-between moments that may not always be captured. These are the moments that you wish you could relive, so the closest way to achieve that, is video.
How long until we receive our wedding film?
Your teaser trailer arrives one - two weeks after the wedding, and the rest of your gallery is delivered around ten weeks. This can be slightly longer during busy periods. Everything is delivered digitally in high resolution, ready to download, keep and share.
Do you work alongside our photographer?
Always, and happily. I will try to contact your photographer before the day so we can briefly speak before the big day. Couples regularly tell me they thought we had worked together before- which is always my aim to help you feel relaxed and trusting that we can work as a team to ensure you get the most out of your memories.
How do we secure our wedding date?
Send an enquiry with your date and venue and I will confirm availability within 24 hours. To book, you sign a contract and pay a £200 booking fee/deposit. Your date is then reserved exclusively for you, with the balance due four weeks before the wedding.
