Filming a Spring Wedding at Foxtail Barns
There are wedding venues that look beautiful in photographs, and then there are venues that seem to offer a perfect backdrop around every corner. Amelia & Caylan’s May 2026 wedding at Foxtail Barns was definitely the latter.
Set amongst beautiful countryside and picturesque grounds, their wedding day was full of natural beauty, heartfelt moments, and the kind of relaxed atmosphere that makes a wedding feel completely personal. From the moment the day began, it was clear that there would be no shortage of incredible moments to capture.
May brought the perfect backdrop for Amelia & Caylan’s celebration. The grounds surrounding Foxtail Barns were looking their best, with the fresh colours of spring creating a beautiful setting for the day.
One of my favourite things about filming weddings is finding those little pockets of beauty that might otherwise be missed. At Foxtail Barns, there seemed to be something around every corner. Whether it was the countryside views, the gardens, the architecture of the venue, or a quiet spot tucked away amongst the grounds, there were so many picturesque places to capture Amelia & Caylan that choosing which ones to use in their film was genuinely difficult.
Every location had something different to offer, giving the film a lovely sense of variety while still keeping the day feeling natural and connected.
The four legged guest..
One of the highlights of the day had to be the appearance of a very special guest.
Their dog joined in with the celebrations, bringing plenty of personality and some incredibly memorable moments to the day. Weddings are always made more special when couples are able to include the people, and pets, that mean the most to them, and having their dog there added such a lovely personal touch.
Those unscripted moments are exactly what make wedding films so meaningful. The little interactions, the unexpected smiles, and the moments that happen naturally throughout the day often become some of the most memorable parts of the finished film.
