Filming a Summer Wedding at Grangefields
One of my favourite features of Grangefields has to be the ceremony area.
The long aisle creates such a spectacular entrance, building anticipation as the couple makes their way towards each other. There is something incredibly cinematic about capturing that moment, particularly when surrounded by the beautiful architecture and atmosphere of the venue.
For Emily & George, the ceremony was filled with emotion. With their friends and loved ones gathered around them, the atmosphere felt intimate despite the scale of the space.
The long aisle gave us the perfect opportunity to capture the anticipation, the emotion, and those little reactions from the people watching. From the first glimpse of the bride to the moment Emily & George finally stood together, it was one of those parts of the day that felt genuinely unforgettable.
What really stood out about Emily & George’s wedding was the sense of togetherness.
Their day was surrounded by friends who were clearly such an important part of their lives. There was laughter, conversation, emotion, and that wonderful feeling of everyone being completely invested in celebrating the couple.
These are often the moments I love capturing most. The reactions from friends, the spontaneous laughter, the hugs, and the little interactions that happen naturally throughout the day.
They might not be moments that were planned, but they are often the moments that bring a wedding film to life.
Effortless Elegance
Everything about the day had a beautiful sense of elegance without ever feeling overdone.
The setting at Grangefields provided an incredible backdrop, while the atmosphere created by Emily & George and their guests made the day feel warm and personal.
August provided beautiful summer light, giving the surroundings an extra sense of warmth and making the perfect setting for capturing natural, cinematic moments throughout the day.
There was a lovely balance between the grandeur of the venue and the intimacy of the celebration. It felt sophisticated, but never formal. Beautiful, but never staged.
