Aimee and Jordan’s wedding at The Principal in York — now known as The Milner — was one of those days that stays with you long after it ends. Intimate, intentional, and deeply personal, their celebration was a beautiful reminder that weddings don’t need to be large to be incredibly meaningful.

With around 20 guests, the day felt calm and unhurried, allowing space for genuine connection and quiet moments. Every part of the day had been thoughtfully considered, not for show, but for feeling — and it made such a difference. From the atmosphere to the smallest details, everything reflected Aimee and Jordan’s kind, generous nature.

One of the most special moments came when they chose to share their personal vows privately, tucked away in the grounds of The Milner. Away from the crowd, just the two of them, it was an incredibly moving part of the day — honest, emotional, and completely theirs. Being able to step aside and focus solely on each other gave the vows an intimacy that felt truly sacred.

The Milner provided the perfect setting for a day like this. Elegant and timeless, yet relaxed and welcoming, it suited the scale and tone of their wedding perfectly. The grounds offered a peaceful backdrop for those quiet moments, while the interiors held a warmth that made everyone feel instantly at ease.

Aimee and Jordan’s thoughtfulness extended to every person involved in their day. They created supplier gift bags for all of their vendors — such a generous and genuinely kind gesture that spoke volumes about who they are as people. It wasn’t about expectation or obligation; it was simply gratitude, and it didn’t go unnoticed. I was working with an amazing photographer on that day too, HB Photography as well as content creator Clink Social Weddings and amazing Wedding Coordinator/Planner Sophie. It really was a dream team of people who made the day run smoothly and beautifully.

Throughout the day, there were small, beautiful touches that elevated everything without ever feeling excessive. Nothing was done for the sake of it — each detail had meaning, and together they created something effortlessly stunning.

But more than anything, it was Aimee and Jordan themselves who made the day so special. Warm, considerate, and quietly joyful, they moved through the day with such ease and love for one another. Their connection was unmistakable, and being part of such an intentional celebration was an absolute privilege.

Aimee and Jordan’s wedding was intimate, elegant, and full of heart — a perfect reflection of them, and a truly beautiful day at The Milner in York.
