Aimee and Jordan’s wedding at The Principal in York — now known as The Milner was one of those days that stays with you long after it ends. Intimate, intentional, and deeply personal, their celebration was a beautiful reminder that weddings don’t need to be large to be incredibly meaningful.
A Calm and Unhurried Atmosphere
With around 20 guests, the day felt calm and unhurried. This allowed space for genuine connection and quiet moments. Every part of the day had been thoughtfully considered, not for show, but for feeling — and it made such a difference. From the atmosphere to the smallest details, everything reflected Aimee and Jordan’s kind, generous nature.
A Private Moment for Personal Vows
One of the most special moments came when they chose to share their personal vows privately, tucked away in the grounds of The Milner. Away from the crowd, just the two of them, it was an incredibly moving part of the day — honest, emotional, and completely theirs. I was fortunate to work with an amazing photographer that day, HB Photography, as well as content creator Clink Social Weddings and the incredible Wedding Coordinator/Planner Sophie. It really was a dream team of people who made the day run smoothly and beautifully.
